Cloudflare improves speed, security, and stability, leading to significant financial benefits with an ROI of 318% for businesses.
Sentiment score
8.5
Infoblox DDI offers high ROI in large environments, integrating DHCP, DNS security, and IP management, but may not suit smaller setups.
WordPress security can be tricky, and that's where Cloudflare can be absolutely helpful for small businesses.
For the small project I was working on, using the basic tier provided a huge improvement at zero cost.
Infoblox offers an ROI that saves time and money.
Integrating DDI offers more efficient return on investment compared to implementing DHCP, DNS security, and IP address management separately.

Customer Service

Sentiment score
7.2
Cloudflare's support is praised for responsiveness, though non-paying users and regions without local offices face challenges.
Sentiment score
9.3
Infoblox DDI customer service is praised for professionalism and responsiveness, though costs and occasional delays are noted.
This would help us address issues promptly, especially during unforeseen events like DDoS attacks.
Cloudflare does not offer hands-on technical support to fix customer problems but rather a self-service model.
The key factor is the language in which the support is offered, which, in this case, is in Thai.
Whenever we have an issue, they are very helpful.
The customer service and support are fantastic.

Scalability Issues

Sentiment score
8.2
Cloudflare efficiently handles increased traffic and growth, offering scalability, robust network performance, and seamless expansion for enterprises.
Sentiment score
8.0
Infoblox DDI offers highly scalable virtual and physical solutions, ideal for large enterprises but costly for smaller businesses.
It is a SaaS tool, but the fact that they have workloads deployed across the world proves that it is a highly scalable tool.
The tool offers very good performance, even during high-traffic periods.
I rate the solution’s scalability an eight out of ten.
InfoBlox DDI is very scalable, offering both physical and virtual box solutions.
I rate the scalability of Infoblox as eight out of ten.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.7
Cloudflare is generally stable and reliable, but occasional issues with downtime, speed, and DDoS protection are reported.
Sentiment score
8.2
Infoblox DDI is stable, rated 8-9/10 by users, with improvements minimizing hardware issues and enhancing overall reliability.
For DDoS protection, I would not recommend Cloudflare.
I rate the solution’s stability an eight out of ten.
The service is very stable with no impacts during high-traffic periods.
Infoblox encounters some glitches, making it not entirely super stable.

Room For Improvement

Cloudflare needs analytics, threat insights, improved support, user-friendly dashboards, and simplified pricing, with consistent caching and security features.
Infoblox DDI users seek advanced training, faster GUI, better Ansible integration, bug fixes, flexible pricing, and improved URL recategorization.
There's a need for improvement in areas like AI-based DDoS attacks and Layer 7 WAF features.
Despite these challenges, overall, Cloudflare remains the preferred solution compared to Azure, AWS CloudFront, and Google Cloud Armor.
Cloudflare should add more documentation and pricing to the cloud version.
It would be helpful if we can log in and click on the server, and have the CLI pop up directly instead of using third-party software, like PuTTY.
The commercial pricing could be reduced to attract more small customers.
I have experienced instances where a URL was triggered by Infoblox even though it was not accessed.

Setup Cost

Cloudflare offers flexible pricing with plans for small businesses to enterprises, balancing cost with comprehensive features and protection.
Infoblox DDI's premium pricing is justified by comprehensive features, though extra licenses may be needed for specific functions.
That's where Cloudflare shines for smaller businesses – it's ten times cheaper than Akamai.
I find it to be cheap.
I think they should consider reevaluating the pricing for support, as it can be quite high.
The pricing is quite expensive, which is why I recommend it for medium and large enterprises and not for small businesses.
InfoBlox DDI is a premium product and is relatively expensive compared to other solutions in the market.
Infoblox DDI's pricing is quite high compared to others.

Valuable Features

Cloudflare offers caching, DDoS protection, and CDN services, enhancing website speed and security with intuitive interface and global reach.
Infoblox DDI offers scalable, secure IP address management with DNS and DHCP integration, supporting cloud/on-premises and 24/7 support.
The most valuable features of the solution are performance and security.
Techniques like minification and image compression reduce the size of assets, leading to better performance and faster user load times.
The solution has been able to compare it to the market, and I think the product has taken great strides in automating quite a bit of things, and they use a lot of AI.
These features make Infoblox DDI preferable because users can get any kind of support, and the UI is easily trainable.
The DDI solution is valuable for its ability to integrate DHCP, DNS security, and IP address management, along with threat intelligence into one platform.
The DNS component of Infoblox DDI is the most valuable feature for us because it includes DNSSEC for DNS security.
