I would like to have a little bit more of a place to have testing be able to test more because we're being charged on a utilization level. And sometimes, we have to scrap what we created. It'd be nice to just use that quota for actual production videos and have something. It would be nice to just have an audio track to check the audio because we're in a technical field, and the avatars' voice rendering gets strange on certain words that we use. It gets strange with certain words that we use. We use a lot of acronyms and it's just not pure English. So it'd be nice if we didn't lose our credits on testing rather than if we just had an audio tracker to cut a lot of that stuff. So, the development testing workflows could have been improved at that time. With the voice rendering, if we could have some type of AI that could understand the state, and the company, it could probably make a lot of improvements on the language, for clarity, for spelling, it could check a lot of that stuff for us. If it had some type of intelligence to it, we'd be able to pronounce certain things and understand the context of certain things. So, just a level of smarts in there would be a huge improvement.

In Synthesia, there are plenty of areas where improvements are required. The main area of concern in Synthesia stems from its ability to add multiple elements onto a timeline, an area where I feel the product lacks in terms of its intuitiveness and user experience, and I had even complained to the company after it became nonfunctional. Though Synthesia made some changes to get the product working, it still is not as seamless as some other timeline-based non-linear editing software I have used. I would like to see better use of audio in Synthesia. I think Synthesia's audio component could be drastically improved. There is room for improvement on how the audio part is integrated into a project and how it is manipulated and edited, along with how the volume and placement of the timeline are edited. Once a video is created, that process is kind of convoluted. I think there should be an easier way to determine whether your video is done and, if it needs to be corrected, how to correct it since these areas are not very intuitive. There's not a whole lot of direction available anywhere on how to do things well on the platform.

With Synthesia, I hope that some of its features related to the translation portion will come into place soon. If I create something in Spanish with the solution, I either have to send that content to a translator or use Google Translate and get a native speaker to review the text before I put it back in Synthesia and download it into another language. I think Synthesia could have a built-in translator, which would be amazing and extremely helpful since it would make the whole process much more time-efficient. Even though I love that in Synthesia, the voices are very clear, and its ability to enunciate words very well, everything in the solution still sounds and looks slightly robotic. Synthesia has come a long way, but I can see that in a couple of months, it will continue to improve further.
